As stated on the July Massachusetts RACES Nets, the Massachusetts Statewide Hurricane Drill will be on Monday August 8, 2011 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM. MEMA Regional stations and the State EOC, the NWS Taunton station will be active during the drill, as will ARES/RACES/Skywarn teams and individual operators throughout the state.

The annual hurricane drill is important for keeping our operating skills in shape in order to assist with any statewide event.
